In light of escalating regional tensions, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan engaged in separate discussions with his counterparts from Egypt and Qatar. The meetings addressed the recent attacks on Bahrain and growing concerns about maritime security in the area.
During a conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, both leaders condemned the attacks and the associated threats to navigation routes. They emphasized the importance of enhanced cooperation, calling for a reduction in tensions and a shift back to diplomatic negotiations to promote stability throughout the region.
Similarly, Prince Faisal discussed these issues with Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani. Both officials criticized the recent attacks and underlined the necessity of safeguarding maritime movement, echoing a shared commitment to regional security.
The ministers expressed their support for ongoing diplomatic efforts, particularly those related to the US-Iran agreement, and encouraged broader solutions aimed at enhancing security and stability in the Middle East.
